C J Phan
CJ is a bodybuilding champion, with many gold medals to his name. He won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and the Singapore Nationals competition with a gold medal in the light-middleweight category. His won Second Place at the international natural bodybuilding competition MuscleMania in the USA. These accomplishments are made even more prominent as he has quit the competitive scene for over 8 years since 1993 because of his work in South America.
Instead of pursuing a lucrative legal career with his highly rated moot court skills after earning a prestigious law degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS), he chose instead to turn to custom jewelry instead. Since 1989, CJ has worked deep in the mines of South America, and studied first hand where and how to mine for the best quality natural rock crystals and semi-precious stones. CJ has participated in international gem and jewelry shows in Europe, USA and Asia, and is a wholesale stockist of some of the most exquisite semi-precious as well as precious stone specimens as well as finished jewelry. CJ is a skilled custom jewelry designer, with a keen eye for unique design loved by many, as well as a practical knowledgebase to ensure that what is designed can be manufactured (unlike less skilled pure designers).

The content of this book is fantastic, with lots of new insights and well-rounded views. I think it also touches base with much of population here with problems of a sedentary lifestyle and wanting to look good. I believe that even parents with obese kids will find this book invaluable. This book should also be staple reading for people in schools and in the army.
– David Chin, editor.
From a solitary and scrawny kid who was more comfortable in front of his Radio Shack computer, to a globetrotting World Class bodybuilder and successful gems designer, CJ has demonstrated that there are varied options available and open to us in life, if only we will take cognizance and put in efforts. And so as with this book, he is sharing with us the options available, to make ourselves healthier, feel, look and live better.

This book is just another example of where Seamus wants to share his energy and enthusiasm for life with the reader.
– Daniel O’Callaghan, PhD (Pharm).
I love your book. It offers clear and practical methods for getting in shape, but also gives the reasons (science for non-scientists) behind the techniques. I use the gym at school. I’ve been running on a treadmill and lifting weights 4 or 5 times a week. I was motivated and focussed, but I didn’t see the results I wanted until I consulted your book for insights on diet and recovery (good food, rest, stretching, mental attitude). Now I feel more energy, and the stress seems easier to bear. Thank you. Your book is an excellent resource. Also, the pictures of you and C.J. as kids are great. 🙂
– Jeff Brown, Student at Law.
I have just bought your book last week. I love it so much. Thank for writing this book, as I have been looking for a book like this for the past few weeks. When I saw it in Plaza Singapura, I just paid without a second thought.
– Danny, Singapore.
