So, here we are, back to the lockdown mode again, where we are told to WFH (work from home), with no dining in, gyms closed, and basically the same gloomy climate all over again like a bad dream or time loop. Looks like my inner chef, and my weekend artist, have to come to the fore again. Cooped up in a small tiny island in a tiny abode or office, which is the norm, what did I learn as the proverbial ronin?
Real life is complex, and very little reality resembles what we read in fairytales or children’s books. Our storytelling should be authentic, realistic, and necessarily congruent with the complexities of life.
There seems a dream of some young people rushing to make quick money and achieve rapid success. And yet, how many last through till the end?
We face a graying population worldwide, and it is a global situation that cannot be swept aside. And yet, are we giving our attention to our elders?
