Surprising to see one Asian country in the Top 3 Safest Countries in the world, and NOT the usual suspects.
The top 3 safest countries in the Presscave list went to:
1) Iceland
2) Taiwan
3) Denmark
Japan came in 8th and Singapore came in 10th.
The criteria from the Presscave list was said to be:
“The rating was based on the annual Global Peace Index compiled by Australia-based nonprofit research organization Institute for Economics and Peace, as well as criteria including corruption, culture, economic crisis, natural disaster and terrorism.”.
